I am back on the web and hope to blog a little more. In my absence, I have completed my Ph.D., completed by rotation through the offices of the National Society of Professional Engineers, become a grandfather, and fully converted to a Mac. Converting to the Mac was part of the issue. My old site had been built with FrontPage which is discontinued and does not work on Macs anyway. I also wanted to move from MovableType to WordPress which has been accomplished.

I still want to work on the site but needed to get it up and running. I have been elected as an elder commissioner to the 223^rdGeneral Assembly of the PC(USA) and want to post some updates while I am there.
