Tonight we had the church Harvest Festival and Chili Supper at Robinson Lake. It was a nice Halloween party complete with face painting, pumpkin carving, costume carving, and trunk or treating. Yep, I said trunk or treating. We were asked to help with that party of the party and it was fun. About eight of us parked our cars in an area, opened our trunks (hatch in our case), put up some decorations, and handed out candy from our trunks. It was fun seeing all of the children come by in their costumes.

Oh yea, the chili was very good too. It had just the right amount of kick to it. I can’t wait until next year.
